From Post Office to Restaurant
Yes, once we were a post office, and actually, before there was a post office our building was a greengrocer, and before that, as the South Hill was developed, there was a construction yard and utility office building on the site. We no longer sell stamps, but we will give you a Luna postcard and be happy to mail it for you.
Support
Paramount commitment to locally-grown food, using seasonal and sustainable ingredients, helps us focus on building partnerships and creating a community. We proudly support local farmers and artisans of the Inland Northwest:
~ Luna's Backyard Garden, Bouzies Bakery, Dan Jackson Farms, Egger's Meats, Jane Danly, Olsen Farms, Mushroom Resource, Prairie Sunshine Honey and Shepard's Grains
We here at Luna also know the importance of "Going Green" and are committed to continue our support in our practices in every aspect. Presently we are the only restaurant in Spokane working in conjunction with Waste Management to compost and recycle all of our organic materials.
Facilities
Luna is a stand-alone restaurant in a neighborhood high atop Spokane's South Hill. There is plenty of parking and a sense of spacious freedom. Luna has a full service lounge, classic marble-top dining areas, waiting area and a beautiful private dining room (The Garden Room). There is a delightful rose enclosed terrace. Oh yes, there is the magnificent flower garden courtyard for truly al fresco dining and lounging.
